What do you get when you start with a versatile, self-closing box and add cute little animal faces? You get my sweet Animal Boxes by Sizzix of course! They are so simple to make and can be embellished to be used without the faces but the magic happens when you add the various eyes and ears. And to make them even cuter, I added flowers from my Photo Banner die set.

The die cuts the basic box shape, ears and eyes but change the color and ears to get the six different animals. The eyes can also vary, notice the unicorn in front and bunny in back. Or make the eyes “wink” like the fox on the left and the deer on the right.

The flowers and leaves are from my Photo Banner die set, sold separately. Layer up the flower colors to create adorable boho embellishments on each animal.

I’m sure you can also make a cat and a mouse as well. How many different animals can you make? Have fun and happy crafting!
