Memorial Day Tribute with Instax

Today is a day of remembrance and to honor my father’s military service, I made an Instax Mini Photo Stand with stars and stripes.

To create the frame, I used the Photo Frame, Celebrate and the word “Grateful” from the Photo Frame, I Am Phrases set. Since all of the words can be mixed and matched, it was easy to find the right sentiment.Die_cutting_Lynda_Kanase
I used a piece of washi tape to hold the word die in place before running it through my SideKick machine.

The frame can be die cut to have the word on top or on the bottom of the frame.Instax_Frame_Cut_Lynda_Kanase

Next, I die cut the Photo Stand, Seasonal out of white cardstock and used a piece of blue striped washi tape across what would be the front panel.Photo_Stand_Lynda_Kanase
Fold all of the creases and adhere the sides closed to create the stand.

I also die cut some blue stars and adhered them with foam dots to the front of the photos.

Thank you to all past and present military personnel who have served our Country.
