Pot of Gold Treat Box and Card by Pam Bray

Today I have a St. Patrick’s Day themed guest post by the very talented Pam Bray. She shares some unique and clever ways to use my Sizzix dies to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Enjoy her inspiration below.
Hi!!! Pam here today…I am taking over the LyndaCreates Blog with a little Pot of Gold Treat Box and a wonderful St Patrick’s Day Card. It is so much fun to create fabulous projects using Lynda’s dies and I hope I will inspire you to grab your favorite Lynda Kanase dies by Sizzix, look at them and think ….hmmm….what else could you make!
So I did just that… I decided I would created a fun Pot of Gold Treat Box with the Geometric Holder and Planner Dies along with Candy Box Die from Sizzix.
Photo 1: Die cut Geometric Holder from pattern paper.
Photo 2: Adhere sides together.
Photo 3: Continue until the Geometric Holder is formed into a container.
Run glitter paper through Xyron Creative Station or use your favorite adhesive.
Photo 4: Die cut smaller die from the Geometric Holder from glitter paper. Add to top of holder. Die cut Candy Cup; adhere glitter paper to top.
Photo 5: Adhere prepared container to top of candy cup to form stand. Die cut banners from pattern paper. Add to corners of container.
Photo 6: Adhere ribbon to top of container. Die cut flowers from Paper Clippables Die; form flower. Adhere to top of banners along with small leaves that are cut from pattern paper.
Photo 7: Die cut more of the Paper Clippables flowers; form and adhere to fussy cut clovers from pattern paper.
Photo 8: Adhere to bottom of Candy Cup
Photo 9: Add fussy cut leaves to flowers to finish the Pot of Gold Treat Box. (Add your favorite candy.)
Who can have a Pot of Gold Treat Box to gift without having a matching card to go along with it! So…I created a St Patrick’s Day Card.
Photo 10: Begin by cutting one of the banners from the Photo Banner die set.
Photo 11: Adhere pattern paper and doily to top of card base.
Photo 12: Wrap banner with green lace ribbon. Add to card base with pop dots.
Photo 13: Add Epherema image to top of card front.
Die cut a few more of the gold glitter flowers using the Paper Clippables and form into flowers; adhere to fussy cut clovers and place on card front to finish card. I hope you are inspired to grab Lynda’s dies and see what fun things you create with them.
 – Thank you Pam for these great ideas. I love how she added the little flowers on top of the shamrock shapes. So festive!
