Picture This! Lovely Valentine Card

Here is an extra-special kind of Valentine’s Day card for that extra-special person in your life. Simple, sweet and personalized with extra care. Here’s a quick video followed by step-by-step instructions.

First gather all of your supplies:

You will need my Lovely set of dies and stamps by Sizzix, SideKick {or BigShot} machine, Instax camera or Share Printer, my Picture This! paper pad by Sizzix, Worn Lipstick Distress Ink, clear Embossing Powder, Embossing ink pad, StazOn black ink, ink applicator, Sanding block, Embossing gun, cardstock: kraft color 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, Pink 2 1/8″ x 5 1/2″ and Dark red KraftCore 2 3/4″ x 4″, stamping block, foam dots, tape runner and liquid adhesive. I also used a small pink heart-shaped button and a standard date stamp as optional embellishments.

Using the Lovely frame and the drop-in word “together”, die cut using the SideKick machine by Sizzix.

Cut a small strip from the red paper, 1 7/8″ x1/2″ and adhere behind the word “together”.

Adhere the frame onto the front of your Instax photo.

Lightly brush on the Worn Lipstick Distress Ink around the edges of the folded card.

Lightly sand the edges of the red Kraft Core paper.

Using the heart pattern paper from the Picture This! paper pad, trim to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and adhere to the front of the card. Adhere the red paper. Using clear embossing ink, stamp the swirl corner shape on the bottom left corner of the red layer and apply clear embossing powder. Repeat on the top right corner.

Heat set the embossing powder.

Stamp the phrase “all you need is love” on the remaining pink paper and die cut using the heart Framelit.

Adhere the photo on the red paper. Add foam dots to the back of the die cut pink heart.

Adhere the two hearts to the front of the card. Stamp the date and you’re done.

Hope you enjoyed this sweet Valentine’s Day card.
