Day one of the Craft and Hobby Show in Anaheim, CA. It was amazing, exciting and overwhelming all at the same time. This was the first time that I actually demonstrated my own die designs. At one time my dream was to just be able to attend the show. Little did I know that one day I would actually be demonstrating my own die designs.
I was demonstrating the new Home Decor line from Sizzix. You can see two of my die sets in the photo above. One is the large Ampersand in the top right of the photo. This is so much more than just the one ampersand shape. The other is an alphabet set in the top left. As a dedicated crafter myself, I tried to make these dies as creatively flexible as possible. I will share lots of projects and ideas as their release dates comes nearer.
I was also excited to see lots of my crafting idols. I wasn’t able to get photos with all of them yet but I will have more opportunities in the next few days. I was able to get a photo with Jo Packham, the editor/founder of Where Women Create magazine.
Tomorrow is another day at CHA!
