Turning My Own Hand-drawn Art Into Embroidery on a Tote
I enjoy creating, whether it involves drawing, quilting, or embroidering birds and flowers as embellishments. When you can do both drawing and stitching, then the borders become blurred and new possibilities open up all around you. And I’m just beginning to explore what new possibilities lay in front of me. It feels like, as a kid, walking into a craft store with your pockets filled with your birthday money.
So if you don’t see a new video or new blog post every week then it is safe to assume that I am exploring drawing and test-stitching one of my newest designs.
Well, I hope you enjoy these sweet Swallows and petite flowers. Although I love the look of them on this canvas tote, I suggest stitching on softer fabric, it will be easier on your hands.
There is still so much MORE to stitch and explore. Please join me in this creative journey and let’s make something beautiful together!
