Finishing the Inside Front Cover of the Stitch Notebook Plus Vintage Fabric Thrift Haul
In Part 6 of my Slow Stitch Notebook, I am sharing the completed inside front cover. The stitching was done on a gorgeous piece of thrifted hand-dyed silk as the background with lots of French Knots and Bullion Stitches. I could keep going on the stitches but had to move on although I could always come back and add more.
I am also sharing my recent vintage fabric thrift haul finds. The joy of the hunt is almost as much fun as the creative possibilities. Upcycling and using thrifted finds is not only a sustainable choice, but it also adds character and charm to your fabric art.
There is still so much more to stitch and explore. Please join me in this creative journey and let’s make something beautiful together!
