A lovely Valentine card combines slow stitching, crazy quilting, embroidery, thrifting, beading and card making all in one

Gather up some thrifted supplies, embroidery threads and vintage lace to create a truly thoughtful Valentine’s Day card for someone special. Slow stitching is all about the quiet mindfulness of stitching with your hands, selecting vintage fabrics that feels good to the touch and making something while thinking of the person who will be receiving the finished stitched piece.

Check out how easy this is to make and how I may or may not be making up some stitches. And if you’re feeling adventurous, watch how I experiment with learning a new stitch and maybe try it yourself. The joy of slow stitching is that you can make up your own rules and feel good doing it. Happy crafting!
