Make This Delightfully Textured Card Combining Embroidery, Stamping and Slow Stitching

This card combines the paper arts techniques of stamping and card making with the tactile arts of embroidery and slow stitching. I’ve also included collage and upcycling to make it more interesting.

The fabric was thrifted from upholstery sample books. So much variety and colors to choose from. The textures of the fabrics is so rich and pleasing. The stamping is the same as with any card making project except you stamp on fabric. It is the coloring and embellishing that is more tactile and dimensional. This is so simple yet so satisfying.
