Start Some Creative Fusion with Stamping, Inking, Stitching and Beading
Introducing our version of mixed media combining the simple art of stamping with the fun art of embroidery. Along the way we added some creative texture and embellishments. Start with a soft wash of alcohol inks to set the mood and finish with pops of shiny glass beads.
You will be surprised at how a few easy stitches can turn your stash of stamps into lovely, textural pieces of art.

Beautiful stitch to create leaves and more.

Fishbone Stitch
Another beautiful stitch to fill in large areas.

Basket Stitch
Note that the needle is inserted vertically straight when it goes behind the fabric.

Long and Short Stitch
Nice way to blend colors.

Chain Stitch
Versatile stitch.

Blanket Stitch
Another versatile stitch. We stitched it across in one direction then flipped it and stitched back across using a different color

A beautiful stitch that wasn’t shown in the video but added later to the finished piece.
