A New Twist on a New-to-Me Craft Technique

Welcome to my first needle felted project that is perfect for beginners. This is a simple project but I discovered that needle felting works with fibers other than just 100% wool. This opens up a lot more, budget-friendly possibilities.

This is a wonderful way to turn scraps of wool roving, batting and yarn into a cute autumn project. These pumpkins are so quick and simple to make that you can fill a small basket with them for a lovely autumn decor piece or string them together and make an adorable autumn banner.

Disclaimer: Although this is a super easy and cute project please be aware that needle felting involves repeatedly stabbing a sharp needle into a ball of fibers. I do not recommend this craft for children.
