DIE CUT PIECES

Die cut the following:
2 x Large red shapes
1 x Black shape with crease line
2 x Long black drawers
2 x Short black drawers
2 x Long silver strips
2 x Short silver strips
4 x Black wheels
2 x Silver wheel holders
2 x Reverse silver wheel holders

HINT

Note that there are three short indented lines on either side of the large tool box die shape. These are to guide you when positioning the drawers.

ASSEMBLY

Adhere the silver strips along the top of the black drawer fronts.

Adhere the drawer fronts as shown using the guides on the sides of the tool box shape.

Fold the crease line along the long, black tool box lid shape

Adhere the glue tab on the tool box lid shape to the front side of the back tool box shape

Apply a narrow line of liquid adhesive around both sides and bottom of the back tool box shape.

Adhere the black wheels to the front. Adhere the silver wheel holders.

On the back side of the tool box, adhere the remaining wheels and the two reverse-cut wheel holders.

EMBELLISHING

Die cut the saw, wrench, hammer and pliers out of silver card stock. Die cut the handles for the saw and the hammer from scrap card stock. Adhere these onto the drawers if desired.

OPTIONS

Adhere the drawers with double-sided foam tape to add depth. Tuck the tools “into” the drawers.

You can also adhere just the front of the tool box to the front of a card and insert the gift card or create the tool box-shaped gift card holder like we did. Either way, it will be a special gift.
