Decorate for a Special Baby Shower

What better way to celebrate the arrival of a sweet baby than with a banner of storks with their special delivery. These storks and their precious gifts are easily customizable for boys, girls and even twins! A super easy way to set the theme for a sweet baby shower.

TOOLS

MATERIALS

  • Card stock – white, black, orange, flesh tones and colors to match the baby shower theme
  • Ribbon or Twine for hanging banner

Fold a piece of white cardstock and place the top of the stork’s head and tip of the wing above the fold. Run the folded cardstock and die through the die cutting machine so that the top of the head and wing does not cut.

Unfold the stork shape and it should be connected along the top where it did not die cut. Die cut as many of these as you want on the banner.

Die cut the baby shape for each stork. With a die pick, gently lift up below the baby’s hand.

Adhere the die cut diaper shape under the baby’s hand

Die cut two blanket sacks for each baby. On the back of one die cut sack, apply a thin line of liquid adhesive along the bottom and a small dab on the top knot.

Adhere to the second sack so that it is attached at the top and bottom to hold the baby.

Embellish the storks. Unfold each stork and place over the piece of string or ribbon to create the banner.

Place the a baby in each sack and place the top of the sack over the beak of the stork.

You can also embellish a baby shower card with these adorable storks and their precious deliveries.
