Make your very own She-Shed Party Favors

Cute or classic, who wouldn’t love their very own she-shed. Start with our simple tutorial then make it as unique as you are. We start with the Milk Carton die then add embellishments to give it simple charm.

MATERIALS

  • Printed Card stock, we used a woodsy pattern.
  • Card stock – Green, Reds, Kraft, Flower colors

Die cut two of the large shapes. We used a woodsy pattern for our she-shed.

Fold the crease lines as shown

Adhere the vertical glue tabs to form a box shape

Fold the bottom flaps and adhere the flaps to create the bottom of the milk carton

Gently work the creases on the top of the milk carton to create the milk carton shape

For a rustic look, we distressed the edges of our milk carton using Distress Ink in Tea Dye

Die cut the door, windows and shutters. Adhere the door on one side with the solid roof

Adhere the windows and shutters on the remaining sides

Gently work the angled creases on the top to form the milk carton “spout”

Apply adhesive along half of the top flap and adhere. By adhering only half of the top flap allows for the other side to open as a spout like a milk carton.

There are two styles of shingles, full scallop and half scallop edges. Die cut four of the half scallops and six of the full scallops.

Start with a full scallop shingle along the top flap.

Along the bottom edge of the roof, adhere a half scallop shingle.

Working from the bottom up, slightly overlap the shingles alternating between full and half scallop rows.

The top row should be a full scallop row.

Die cut the chimney shape.

Apply adhesive to the glue tab and secure to create a box shape

Fold the short bottom tabs inward.

Apply adhesive to the short bottom tabs

Adhere the chimney to the side of the roof that does not open into the spout.

Gently press onto the roof until secured.

Die cut the smallest flowers and some green stems from the Garden Flowers die set. Use these to embellish around the sides of the she-shed favor box

This is just one idea to decorate with the Milk Carton House Add-on die set. In the future, watch for seasonal ideas like Christmas or Halloween. We love the versatility of this die.
