Make A Card Bursting With Flowers

Add a burst of colorful flowers for your Mother’s Day card. Mom will be impressed.


MATERIALS

  • A7 blank folded card
  • Card stock in various colors
  • Ink in coordinating color
  • Enamel dots optional
  • Adhesive – Liquid and Foam dots

Die cut flower shapes:
Light pink: 9
Dark pink: 3
Light green: 3
Medium green: 4
Dark green stems: 3
Blue flowers: 36
Yellow Large: 3
Yellow small: 3
White small: 36

Die cut the 3 1/4″ Dashed Circle
“M”: 2 each in 2 different colors
“O”: 1 in 2 different colors

Using the i-Brush Blending Brush, ink just the center of 3 of the light pink flowers.

Adhere this flower on top of two other light pink flowers and stagger the petals.

Adhere large yellow centers to these flowers.

Adhere a blue flower on each of the round areas on the dark green stems. Adhere a white dot in the center of each blue flower.

Adhere small yellow dots to the center of the dark pink flowers.

Center the dashed circle on the front of the card and lightly draw a pencil line to determine placement of the flowers and leaves.

Adhere the large leaves first so that they will be seen after the dashed circle is added.

Adhere the light green leaves then the blue flower stems again making sure that they will display from behind the dashed circle.

Add foam dot adhesives behind the dashed circle and adhere it in front of the flowers.

Adhere the letters to spell out “MOM” using the contrasting letter outlines.

Finish by adding a few enamel dots if desired.
