As you prepare for the holiday festivities, here’s a pretty way to add an extra treat for your guests. These are made using my Treat Pouch die set by Sizzix. These are quick and easy to make and their unique shape is sure to please everyone.

Cut a 1″ x 8″ strip of card stock and adhere about 1/4″ from the top of your paper. I used a lighter weight pattern paper to make the pouch to hold its shape easier and a thicker piece of card stock to keep the holes from tearing when tied.

Align the top of the die along the top of the card stock strip and run this through your BigShot machine.

Fold the flap along the right and apply strong adhesive tape.

Adhere to create a tube. 

Apply a 2 3/4″ strip of strong adhesive tape along the bottom in the opposite direction to the side seam. Adhere the bottom seam perpendicular to the top opening.

Below is a side view. Fill with treats, insert ribbon or twine through the top holes and tie closed. Quick, festive and fun just in time for any holiday party.
